Respawnables from Digital Legends by way of Zynga has received a pretty hefty update to version 1.5, that brings with it a bunch of new content including weapons from Men in Black and Ghostbusters. Through partnering with Sony Mobile and Sony Pictures, players can now get their hands on a Noisy Cricket or a Ghostbusters suit and Proton Gun to head on out and shoot things with.
For anyone not familiar, Respawnables is a third-person shooter full of individual missions for offline play, online multiplayer and fantastic cartoon-style graphics. The game is free to download, but comes with a host of in-app purchases for additional content and weapons. Indeed, the Noisy Cricket is an in-app purchase, and not a cheap one at that. But it's the Noisy Cricket.
New weapons aren't the only fare included in the latest update. There's a new level map to play through as well, The Snow Village, costumes and gadgets to go with the new weapons, Game Center support for playing across multiple devices, and the facility to invite your friends to join you in your squad for some online multiplayer shooting fun.
